Priceline can save you tons of money when booking a hotel using their "Name you own price" service. Deals like $35/night for Hyatt and $40/night for Hilton are not uncommon.

However people are hesitate to use this service because everything is vague. You have no idea what is the best bid price to offer and which hotel you might end up with.

Priceline Helper is designed to solve these problems for you. With several years data collection, we have built a solid database which can tell you what are these hidden priceline hotels and also the probability to get one specific hotel when bidding on priceline when requesting specific zone and star levels.

A lot of user reports with their winning bid price is also available in this application which will help you decide what is the best starting bid price to put.

Thousands of user have already benefited from our service. Now it is your turn.

Promise unfulfilled

The promise of finding an app that would provide user-fed insight into what prices each hotel would accept is promising; the result does not fulfill.

What you get is a city-by-city listing of areas that match the Priceline areas/neighborhoods. When you click on a hotel of interest, it shows you where the hotel is on a map. But the only pricing data you get is not correlated with this list. Instead, the pricing data is one long list of pricing reports, presumably as they've been submitted by users. You have to scroll through the list and hope the hotel or area you're interested in has a user report. Odds are that it hasn't.

Clicking on a specific hotel gets you a percentage of acceptance. There is no explanation of how this is derived or at what price.

This app frankly is a waste of money unless you just have to know what specific hotels are participating in a specific area. I wouldn't have paid $1 for that, let alone the 2 they got out of me. Buyer beware.
